4X4 Off Road Truck Show Challenge
Jeff Cook will be at the 4X4 Off Road Truck Show Challenge this Saturday, October 16th. This event is at the American Heritage Village located at exit 126 West off I-69. There will be mud bogs, show trucks, a show and shine competition, obstacle racing and old school monster trucks. The show starts at noon and runs till 5:00 rain or shine. Jeff recently delivered a Chevrolet C4500 Crew Cab Brush/Rescue truck to Milton, IL for the East Pike Fire Protection District. The truck was featured in the town’s parade celebrating the Milton Corn Festival.

IAFPD Conference
1st Attack Engineering, Inc. won the President’s Choice Award at IAFPD Conference in Peoria, IL last week. This award was for our 2008 Sterling Bullet Fast Attack Brush Truck and we are honored to have been chosen.

Silver Lake Sand Dunes
1st Attack Engineering will be at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Mears, MI on Saturday, May 2, 2009. We will be testing and demonstrating the features of the new Demo brush fire truck in the sand dune environment. There will be several fire departments on hand. 1st Attack Engineering, Inc. will be at the FDIC in Indianapolis, Indiana April 23-25, 2009. This is the world’s largest Firefighting Training Conference and Exhibition. National Military History Center
1st Attack Engineering, Inc. is proud to announce that the show trucks Silly Willy and Lil’ Squirt will be on display at the National Military History Center. Both show trucks were designed and built by Jeffrey Cook, President of 1st Attack Engineering. They will be located in the Kruse Automotive Horsepower and Carriage Museum along with the collection of Carl Casper. This impressive collection includes Casper’s Ghost, The General Lee, The Batmobile and Buffalo Bill’s Stagecoach. Casper has won numerous awards for his custom cars. Jeffrey Cook is honored to have his vehicles chosen to be on display with such an automotive icon as Carl Casper. Be sure to stop by the ever-expanding complex and take a tour. It is located right off I-69, Exit 126, in Auburn, Indiana.
Illinois Fire Chiefs Association

Jeffrey Cook will be at the Northeastern Indiana Emergency Vehicle Show on Saturday, September 13, 2008. Show times are from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and will be held at Hires Park on South Briant Street in Huntington, Indiana. Jeff will be there with monster show trucks Silly Willy and Lil Squirt. This show will feature new and antique emergency vehicles of all kinds. There will also be live demonstrations plus food vendors, kids activities and a 5K race. Jeff Cook & Wildfire Win Design Award
We are proud to announce having received an award for the Daimler Chrysler Corporation at the International SEMA Automotive show in Las Vegas, Nevada. This Design Excellence Award, one of only six awards presented, acknowledges “innovative thinking, design excellence, and/or superior process management.” The 2003 SEMA show, held during the week of November 5-8, was attended by 103,000 people. President Jeffrey Cook was honored to receive this award and to be recognized by Daimler Chrysler with his Dodge Fast Attack Brush Fire Truck demonstration vehicle.
War Wagon Racing 10th Anniversary
“Looking back, I can’t believe that it has been ten years. I can still remember my first show with the War Wagon and how nervous I was. Although War Wagon is ten years old, the truck itself is only a couple of years old. With advances in suspension technologies, we had to build a newer truck. We are jumping higher and farther and running a lot faster than we were ten years ago, but that’s what keeps it exciting,” says Jeffrey. “I have had a great ten years and wouldn’t trade them for anything. The friends and fans I’ve met and have been encouraged by through the years are awesome! My goal this year is to run harder and to have more fun with the truck, and I hope to meet more fans. ” Along with building a thriving manufacturing business, Jeff Cook has also continued his successful career on national tour with the War Wagon Monster Truck.
